our kitchen!

This is a seriously delayed post! Our kitchen has been complete for a little while now. I can't really say that I've been super busy -- only that everything that used to be easy is no longer easy at all! I'm still hanging in here though, at 35 weeks pregnant. No recent photos, but I'll have to work on that :)

Unfortunately, there are now a few things that need to be done -- things we didn't expect to need to do. When we removed the tile back splash, some of the drywall was torn up. We didn't think much of it, as the granite was going to cover it... but as it turns out, the tile was uneven (surprise, surprise!) so now the wall will need to be plastered and painted. Our cabinets will also require some touching up from the removal of the old counters. Hopefully these things will be done in the next few weeks before Tyler comes, but who knows :)

By the way, there are still a ton of things to do in Tyler's room before his arrival in approximately 5 weeks -- when the room is complete, I'll update photos.
